So…. a little history
From January to until the end of May I continued to work on the Formula 1 Cafe later known as “The Wing”. What a project and what would become one of the most challenging projects I ever worked on. On day I need to sum it up in a book possibly titled “how not to build a building”. Anyway the Client let us go in June and that was that.
So I worked on a few proposals and waited out my time until a much needed holiday at home. I planned on 3 weeks and lots of to dos on my agenda. The holiday carefully timed with taxing requirements. On a the 14th of July I just happened to be up in the middle of the night when my BB buzzed in new email. “Potential need for you in the Netherlands lets discuss tomorrow”. So with a few days left until my leave it was discussed and the day before I left it was decided I would be off the Europe with a week off.
And on August 1 2009 I arrived in Amsterdam and made my way south to Vlissingen.
Oooh there is much to tell from here. Mostly I work 7 days a week. Not always a full day on the weekend and had a few days off. Another challenge!
